The cottage is part of the commune of Besneville, just 21 miles South of Cherbourg. Ten miles away is the town of Bricquebec, watched over by it`s ancient donjon or keep. The sea is only 5 miles away at Portbail or Carteret.

 

Travel

The cottage is 30 minutes from Cherbourg ferry port and 75 minutes from Caen ferry port. Both these ports are serviced by Brittany Ferries.

 

Distances

Mont St Michel is an hours drive. Bayeux tapestries is a 50 mins drive.
